Move over Greenery, this year’s Pantone colour of the year ‘Ultra Violet’ is here! 
Every year the ridiculously talented colour specialists at Pantone release their ‘colour of the year’, and this year it’s a mystical, yet cool shade of purple.
The colour gurus at Pantone describe it as “a dramatically provocative and thoughtful shade”. It embraces mindfulness and spirituality, and we think it takes us back to Prince’s Purple Rain!
Ultra Violet is definitely a showstopper; it’s a hue that can transform any room. But how do you stay on trend and incorporate Pantone 18-3838 into the décor of your holiday house, hotel/motel, resort or Airbnb?
At first glance the colour seems a little confronting, a little too out there, but it’s easier than you think to add it to your colour scheme. Think of it as an accent, a pop of colour, a splash of energy that will brighten up any room.
